Grab-and-go breakfast box (driving mornings β Up&Gos alone aren't enough): muesli/protein bars, cold cheese toasties or basic sandwiches. Sandwich plan: Sarah makes them the day before driving days only (ham & cheese / salami β salami keeps ~3 days). Last trip: pub lunch $48 for two sandwiches, Maccas stops $50β60 each.

1. Car AND food fully packed the night before Β· 2. Kids straight into the car in their jammies pre-dawn β no negotiations Β· 3. They wake at the first Maccas stop: change of clothes + a feed Β· 4. Grab-and-go box within reach up front. Kills the 9:15 "nobody's eaten / why is the heater on" spiral.

Reality-aware β re-route triggers for weather, roads, cancellations and disruptions; the family's real Outlook calendar overlaid so work (Monday quiet days, Wednesday half-days, invoice days, LSKD fortnightlies) and life (birthdays, school) travel with the trip.
Caravan-first practicality β park-ups per stop across parks / showgrounds / pubs / free camps with conditions (self-contained, walk-ups, parmi-for-stay), bookability flags, and the honest booking model: Sandy preps to the payment wall, the card tap is always Josh's.
